CHOOSING A PACKAGE

7 Questions to Ask Before Buying a Dubai Business Setup Package

A package is useful only when its scope matches your business. Ask these questions before paying so that a convenient offer does not leave important requirements unresolved.

1. Which authority and legal form are included?

Ask for the exact licensing authority, emirate, and legal form. An offer described as a Dubai package should clearly identify where the company will be registered. Keep this information on the first page of your comparison rather than relying on a marketing heading.

2. Does it cover everything I will invoice for?

Provide a specific activity description and request the proposed licence codes. If you sell products and provide installation or advice, ask how each element is covered. Record any approval still needed and who is responsible for arranging it.

3. What workspace is actually provided?

Ask what you receive: access to a shared workspace, a dedicated desk, an office, or another arrangement. Confirm the duration, renewal cost, and any usage limits. Explain your real operational needs so the comparison is about usable space.

4. Are visas allocated or paid for?

Ask the provider to separate visa allocation from processing and related charges. List any medical, identity-document, establishment, and immigration costs included in the proposal. Ask what changes if you add staff or do not need residence arrangements now.

5. What will renewal cost?

Request a written estimate of the normal renewal year with recurring services itemised. Identify promotional discounts and ask whether workspace or service charges change after the introductory period. Compare the same assumptions across all proposals.

6. What does the service fee cover?

Clarify whether the provider prepares documents, submits the application, follows up with the authority, or provides ongoing support. If tax or banking assistance is listed, ask for the deliverables. Assistance should not be confused with approval by a separate organisation.

7. What happens if the plan changes?

Read the payment, refund, cancellation, and amendment terms. Ask what happens if you change the activity, add a shareholder, or need additional approvals. Keep promises and exclusions in the written proposal.

Make a comparison with four columns: included, excluded, estimated, and unconfirmed. Resolve the unconfirmed items before choosing on price. Use our setup cost breakdown to build the budget and the printable checklist to organise your review.
